Bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells

Bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells are harvested via the bone marrow aspiration technique by expert physicians under operation room conditions from healthy donors who have signed necessary informed consent and manifested negative routine serology test results. Harvested aspirate products are further processed at the GMP facilities of Ankara University Stem Cell Institute Tissue and Cell Manufacturing Center. The cell-based products which have undergone sterility, endotoxin and immunophenotyping tests and validated as regards mesenchymal stem cell characteristics and eligibility for clinical use are packaged under Class II conditions and are ready for use without any sterilization step (such as gamma irradiation, etc.).

Adipose tissue-derived mesenchymal stem cells

Adipose tissue-derived mesenchymal stem cells are harvested via the lipoaspiration technique by expert physicians under operation room conditions from healthy donors who have signed necessary informed consent and manifested negative routine serology test results. Harvested aspirate products are further processed at the GMP facilities of Ankara University Stem Cell Institute Tissue and Cell Manufacturing Center. The cell-based products which have undergone sterility, endotoxin and immunophenotyping tests and validated as regards mesenchymal stem cell characteristics and eligibility for clinical use are packaged under Class II conditions and are ready for use without any sterilization step (such as gamma irradiation, etc.).

 

Dermal fibroblastic cells

Dermal fibroblastic cells are harvested as the lipoaspiration technique by expert physicians under operation room conditions from healthy donors who have signed necessary informed consent and manifested negative routine serology test results. Harvested aspirate products are further processed at the GMP facilities of Ankara University Stem Cell Institute Tissue and Cell Manufacturing Center. The cell-based products which have undergone sterility, endotoxin and immunophenotyping tests and validated as regards mesenchymal stem cell characteristics and eligibility for clinical use are packaged under Class II conditions and are ready for use without any sterilization step (such as gamma irradiation, etc.).

CD34+ Cell Enrichment

This is a method of magnetic separation of CD34+ cell enrichment from apheresis products harvested for transplantation with the intent to prevent allograft rejection. The method is concurrently accompanied by T lymphocyte depletion.
